1   General

      KYN28A – 12(GZS1) Indoor Metal-clad Central-located Withdrawble Switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the Cubicle) is a kind of three-phase AC 50Hz indoor complete set distributing apparatus used for acceptance and distribution from 3 – 12 kV grid electric power, control protection and supervision for circuits.  With a proper selection of various microprocessor-based comprehensive relaying protective devices mounted on relay compartment panel, the Cubicle brings the intelligent control of the system into realization, i.e., via a kind of CAN site bus with several communication interfaces, performances of remote control, remote measurement, remote communication and remote regulation are completed.  And still more, the Cubicle possesses so called “Five Preventives”, namely, prevention of circuit breaker from mal-operation, prevention of truck from being pulled out or pushed in with load, prevention of earth switch from closing operation when alive, prevention against energizing operation when earth switch is closed, and prevention of people from accidentally entering live bay.  

 2            Working Conditions

2.1        Ambient temperature:  Max. +40℃ and Min. -10℃ in general areas.

2.2        Altitude:  1000 meters above sea level.

2.3        Humidity:   Relative humidity not over 95% for daily average value and   

not over 90% for monthly average;

  Vapor pressure not greater than 2.2kPa for daily average value and not greater than 1.8kPa for monthly average.

        Abrupt drop in temperature will cause condensation.  Actually, the Cubicle works competently in following two severe working conditions beside  normal conditions:

a.        Not frequent condensations occurred (not over 2 times per month)

   with moderate pollution;

b.        Very few condensations (not over 2 times annually) with severe pollution.

2.4        Places where there is no conflagration, nor potential explosion, nor severe pollution enough to corrode metals and insulations.

2.5        Places where there is no violent shocks, pitch and roll, nor vertical inclination not over 8°.
