IDCS 2000 Intelligent Type Low Voltage Switchgear is a kind of intelligent fixing compartmented low voltage complete set equipment self developed by Automation R&D Center of Shanghai China-Science Electric Group Corporation. 

With electric automation technology, network control technology, information transmission technology and computer technology, the switchgear integrates them with various functions such as protection, supervision, control and communication as a whole, realizes protection, remote measurement, remote communication, remote control and remote adjustment to main primary equipments, remote control and management to secondary equipment, and meanwhile, realizes fault self diagnoses to the controlled equipments, communicates with upstream dispatching automation system.  As a matter of fact, it forms a fundamental platform to bring the electric power system into automatization.
