ECC correspondent:  On the afternoon of November 29, 2008, Party Secretary of Zhoupu Town Nanhui District Xie Genming, Deputy Party Secretary Dong Jianmin and Pro-Director of Nanhui District Financial Bureau Chu Yeyuan came to visit ECC for investigation and instructruction.   They were warmly welcomed by ECC Board Chairman and President Chen Qingqian, Vice-Chairman Chen Lei, ECC Board Chairman Assistant and Party Secretary Li Xiuming, ECC President Special Assistant and International Trade Manager Shi Xizheng, ECC Executive Vice-President and General Manager of Shanghai Renmin Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd. Li Chong, and ECC Vice-President Chen Anxing.

    At the ECC’s headquarter conference room, Mr. Shi Xizheng, ECC President Special Assistant and ECC International Trade Managing Div., gave a report speech in four aspects titled “ECC Group on March”, “New Development, New Opportunity and New Challenge”, “Strategic Transfer and Layout Regulation” and “Appreciation of Support to Create Further Achievements”.   After that, he made an emphasis on detailed instruction to underway newly-built ECC’s hi-tech garden.   Mr. Li Xiuming, ECC Board Chairman’s Assistant and ECC Party Branch Secretary, gave an introduction on ECC’s scientific and technological innovation including establishment of long term system of sci-tech innovation practice, development items, achievements and innovation capacity exploitation.  At the address, ECC Board Chairman Mr. Chen Qingqian expressed his heart-felt grateful to the care from Nanhui District Government and Zhoupu Township Government resulted in actual help and support for ECC Group for years.  Mr. Chen also asked for coordination and solution urgently from superior leaders to the problems arisen from present construction of ECC sci-tech garden construction. 

     After listening ECC leaders’ report and introduction, Zhoupu Town Party Committee Secretary Xie Genming offered an enthusiastic speech at the meeting.  He gave an enough affirmation and high appraisal on ECC’s creative concepts, high starting point, high target and high demand in new development strategy of scientific and technological renovation for purpose of continuous development.  He hoped urgently that ECC seizes opportunity, overcomes difficulties and develops step by step on earth towards strategic program and target proposed by ECC enterprise.  Meanwhile, he expressed that our government authorities concerned would do best to serve enterprises.   As for the infrastructure requirements proposed by enterprises such as power and water supplies and so on, the government will coordinate and solute as soon as possible so as to help completion of enterprise construction and begin production as quick as possible.  He said he would recommend Shanghai Renmin Power Equipment Co., Ltd. (ECC’s one of 12 core enterprises) to all government departments for support in aspects of political treatment.
